The Show downstairs at Trumans is a speakeasy basement bar that has been designed to host a variety of events Sunday to Thursday and opens to the public every Friday & Saturday for live music, cocktails and much more.

The Show has it’s own exclusive bar, stylish surroundings and private washrooms. The space is available to hire until Midnight and can host parties of 35 – 45 guests.

There are two different packages available to book for your event, one a drinks only package and the second includes a tasty buffet option.

Packages can be altered to cater for your event and our management team are always available to help.

OPTION ONE

Drinks Only

£750 Minimum Spend Agreement

To reserve The Show exclusively for a minimum of 35 guests a minimum spend agreement of £750 is required. A deposit of £250 must be paid 14 days prior to the date of the event and a card must be held behind the bar on the date of the event until the £750 minimum spend is breached. Thereafter a cash bar will be in service for your guests.

Terms & Conditions

A deposit of £250 is required to secure the booking.

Failure to pay a £250 deposit no later than 4 weeks in advance of the event will result in cancellation of the event.

All monies owed when booking Option Two or Additional Drinks packages must be paid 2 weeks in advance of the event.

Failure to pay the full balance of any Option Two booking no later than 2 weeks in advance of the event will result in cancellation of the event.

A cash bar will be in service up reaching the minimum spend agreement on the night of the event or if you have selected Option Two.

We operate an over 18's only policy. Children are not permitted within the venue.

We do not take bookings for 18th or 21st Birthday Parties, and Hen or Stag Do’s.

You are not permitted to sell tickets for an event booked at the premises.

You are not permitted to decorate the walls of the venue. Free

standing balloons and table decoration are allowed

You are permitted to serve a celebration cake to your guests.

You may not provide any food or alcohol to your guests not supplied by the venue.
